Hiking the Finger Lakes Trail (September 23 2005)

Dan Abelson and I spent a weekend hiking the 17 mile Darby Creek section of the FLT. To our surprise, the creeks along the trail were completly dried up...that was a problem. Luckily, we found a group of boy scouts, who took care of us. If it wasn't for their local knowledge of hydrous plants and Dan's seemingly endless supply of peperoni and peanut butter and jelly sandwhiches we surley would have perished in the backwoods of Ithaca.

Carol and Bruce Get Married (Septermber 4 2005)

It was good to get back to Ohio and see some OSU friends. Canfield Ohio is the location of this very special gathering where we celebrated the sacred union of Carol and Bruce Shaffer. The first of my friends to get married. I caught the garter!!
